JASON'S BIG AWARD!!!

"Created more than two decades ago, the BMA Lantern Awards of Texas recognizes top-quality creative and strategic business-to-business marketing communications. Now Texas' premiere awards event, the Lantern Awards Gala highlights the finest work in B2B marketing communications."

I am pleased to announce Jason's big win at last nights BMA award ceremony. Jason found out days ago that his design had won his category but did not know whether or not he would win a medal or the top prize, the lantern award. Jason designed a booth earlier this year for his company to showcase at an event in Las Vegas. The booth was a huge success at the show and was even nominated for "Best In Show". The real pay off came when the Air force saw the booth at the show and requested 20 booths of his creation for their marketing services. A few more of that specific booth has been made for other companies besides the Air Force... somewhere to the total of about 30 to date. This is just one of Jason's first major accomplishments at his new company and set the path for Jason to grow and gain promotions at his job. The company decided to enter into 4 events for the BMA awards, one for each of the designers with the booth design going for Jason's creation. They won 3 of the 4 events but did not know if they would be recognized with a medal or with the Lantern award. They won 2 medals that night and the Lantern award for Jason's booth creation. They all were so excited! The company has one Lantern already but it was won over 10 years ago. So, congrats to Jason on the big win! What a major accomplishment at the tender age of 22! It just shows that with a little talent and some really hard work, things can pay off for you!! Gooooo Jason!!!

VACATION!!! Our Babymoon...

(Our Favorite Picture Of The Two Of Us)

Jason and I recently took a "Babymoon" Vacation cruise as our last real get away before the baby comes. I am so happy that we did because it really made us realize how much in love with each other that we are. The cruise was nice, don't get me wrong... but just spending 7 strait days with my hubs all to myself was AMAZING! He does so much for me and really cares for me like no one else really can. I just love the man so much and I'm so glad we decided to go!

(Under Our Cabana In Jamaica)

The cruise really was fun although the first two night don't really fall into that category! We were running beside Ida, the hurricane that came out of no where, and the boat moved sooo much! I video taped some of it but it still doesn't compare to some of the moments that we felt. Thank god we had a balcony room where I could step outside and check that everything was A-ok. After all that madness went away so did the sickness! The fun started from there. We went to Cozumel first, then Grand Cayman and finally Jamaica which I never expected to be my favorite place! We just went to private beaches on the other Islands and really enjoyed ourselves. But we knew Jamaica was a scary place so we paid for a day pass into "Beaches" which is owned by "Sandals". It was AWESOME! We didn't want to leave and get back on the ship! And the good thing about beaches is that families can go so Jason and I want to plan out next vaca with out little one there. I think Jason may have had a little too much fun on the water slides though... lol...

And the most important thing we did, besides being completely in love with each other (smoopy, I know, lol) was pick out our baby names! We picked one Girls name and one Boys name, just in case! We just fell in love with the both of them and I am so happy that we did, they are precious! I've posted them below! I wasn't going to share the names until later but I just love them so much that I just really don't care what people think anymore. This is our child and we get the god-given right to name it so I am pleased to share, our names:
